How do you clean skateboard wheels?
Some of the wheels on my board don't seem to spin very well all the way. I was wondering what I need to do and what to use to clean them.
Earthwing slide A's look like skateboard wheels, are they the slide wheels you should use for your LONGBOARD?
The Earthwing slide A wheels, also known i think as superballs have 99 or 100 a durometer . I have heard over Yahoo answers that these are the best slide wheels for a longboard, i heard that those along with the sergios are the best sliding wheels to use because of there slipperyness. I think i may purchase he Earthwing A's because i already have some large soft globe wheels from a Zodiac cruiserboard, and my current wheels are ABEC 11 freerides 66mm and 84a. I want the Earthwing As because i want wheels that can slide alot easier, my reasoning is with that i live near a flat road and no slopes so it is hard enough getting the speed up. Along with that the road is only flat around the middle. i live near country So i think the Earthwing A's would help me with their extremely high durometre as they would be slideier and this is what i am looking for. I am learning my slides now, stand up slides currently, when my equipment comes in i will learn others to After a couple of days in a city nearby i learned how to do toeside speedchecks from the interet, my speedchecks are barely noticeable but it does offer a slight slide when i do them succesfuly, however now i do not have the luxury of slopes and will have to use my injured ankle to push off hard, ive gotten the speed before on this road but the problem is my ABec wheels just dont seem slidy enough, iv worn in the back wheels now, at least a little.Anyway my question is from the title, Earthwing A's i have looked up a fair bit in the last few days and seem pretty good, apart from that i want to longboard and not skate with them, the images are of a white wheel that look farely similiar to my skateboard's wheels, i definitly want them for my longboard though, are they definitly to be used for longboards to? ill post a link to a site where you guys can see the image, i was quite sure that they didnt look like longboard wheels but i would love someone's answer because i dont want to buy them as skateboard wheels, thanks Extra info if needed My longboard is a pintail, a rather broad deck its my profile icture and is called a GLOBE Zodiac cruiser board, Even if the wheels do suit longboards, would they suit this board? thanks LINK TO WHEELS socalskateshop.com index.php?l product detail& p 6880
Which side of the wheel do skateboard wheels cone on?
I found some old parts that I'm piecing together a skateboard with. The wheels I have are a little coned, and I'm wondering if the wheels cone with the small diameter to the inside or the outside of the wheel. I want to switch them around so they can wear back evenly.

How to get bearings out of skateboard wheels?
I bought new skateboard bearings without telling my parents cause they say its a waste of money. My old bearings haven't been taken out of the wheels in years so there SUPER stuck. How can I get them out without wrecking my wheels I don't mind if the bearings have 2 get wrecked . I can't bring the wheels to a skate shop cause i have no way of getting there.

I was riding at a moderate speed, and they just locked, and wouldn't spin. So yeah I went flying. Nothing got caught in the wheels, so idk.
Help skateboard wheels orangatang fat free?
Hi, I own a cruiser board it is the 'Sun City' by Globe surfstitch.com product globe sun city complete skateboard multi and I want to put orangatang fat frees on it, but the wheels currently on it are 62mm and the fat frees are 65mm. Is this going to give me wheel bite? And what can I do to prevent wheel bite if I do get the fat frees? help pleasee
